My Vision
Language has been the obsession of my life. But I have struggled to find a way to sustain my life through language.
There is a game called money. Every person is born a player. And this game, whether people admit it or not, is run by language.
Language can never be the thing it says. People can believe it or not. Agree with it or not. But language moves agendas. It opens paths. It closes them.
Russell Fork Consulting is my commitment to the earth.
It grows from an ecological worldview: a Yes-saying to Life and a No-saying to after-life. A Yes-saying to ecstatic pragmatism. A No-saying to yarn-balls of abstract theory.
Human life does not need an abundance of more language. We are already drowning in language. What we need is actionable language: language that does not just describe the riverbank eroding, but helps get a project moving to address it.
There will always be people who use language that lies. There will always be people who believe them. This is what happens when you get caught up in language and abstraction and overlook the very evidence of your senses.
I can see plenty of problems. But talking about them does not matter unless the language helps move resources, people, and projects toward repair.
That is the value I see in language: not the words themselves, but their power to make things happen in Life.
